I'm feeling lazy today and have seen many posts indicating a varying level of salinity. I have a FOWLR tank. Current salinity is at 1.022. Been set up and consistently 1.022 since stocked in August. What is the best salinity to ensure I don't a) stress fish b) kill inverts and c) do ward off ick and other diseases? I do 20% water changes every other week ect and am not new to the hobby but I wouldn't say I'm advanced by any means. My set up is listed in my profile...

From my understanding for a fowlr tank that's ok and people even run it as low as 1.017 as lower levels my help keep with ich outbreaks etc. it's reef tanks that need the 1.024-5 rating. Consistency of water parameters is key
