You need to fully cycle the tank BEFORE any livestock is added. Please be patient and don't kill anything.

The sump is fully cycled already I have plenty of live rock I shouldn't see much of a spike when I flip the swith on pump and overflow.I've upgraded plenty of times the same way never had an ammonia spike. Thanks for ur concern though

Agreed I just upgraded from 55 to 75 and used my old sump, likewise this is my 3rd upgrade and I've been good to go!
