Salt salinity

1.025-1.026 is better. I keep mine at 1.025 so that if evaporation hits more than expected or i miss a top off it doesn't go TOO high. Its easier to bring down SG accurately than bring it back up in my experience. i also have 210 gallons total system volume so evap isn't quite as crucial to me.
 
same here I keep mine at 1.025... also I seen your other post thought I would add, when you top off for evaporation you should use ro/di water without salt because the salt will not evaporate...
