Just thought I would post a quick update. We decided to start with fresh water. Like many of you have told me, with us having problems w the water now, it would be a lot more expensive to lose an entire salt water tank opposed to fresh. So as of now, we went and got the 30 gallons of filtered water from the LFS this evening and we have been so lucky bc the shop is a small family owned shop and since they had told us last time to just replace the 20 gallons and it didnt work, they charged us NOTHING for the 30 gallons we got today. So, we have the water in the tank and so far the PH has been 7.4. We will see how things go tonight. Fingers crossed! Thanks again for all the info
