I recently received a fully stocked SW tank, but wish to use it for FW.
I know the tank will be fine, and that salt is soluble enough that it won't be a problem in any of the components. Is there anything else to be concerned about, especially in the filters (2-XP3's and a fluval 104) where there are some places I can't clean?
Am I crazy to think that residual coraline or anything that pods may have made are just CaCO3, which would be the same as having a few shells in my tank?
