Sea slugs

Are sea slugs harmful or are they ok. Just found one in my tank that is cycling. Also I have lots of zoanthids appearing. Is this a good sign

no and it's dissapeared now it's plain black and looks like a garden slug

Or a fat black Beatle with a couple of feelers on its head

I thought it was only certain ones that are poisonous

Got up this morning had a white one munching on my zoanthids bot met watery ends down the toilet

The first description-the black one, sounds like a stomatella snail. A harmless hitch hiker.

Bad if it was eating zoas. There are some good ones that eat aiptasia.
