Seachem matrix question

So I just got a 2 liter container of seachem's matrix and it says on the container it should weigh 1.7 lbs, I just weighed mine and it weighs 4 lbs. has anyone purchased this before and have it actually be 1.7 lbs?

I think they mean 1.7lbs before adding to the container.

Thanks, ended up calling and they said that's the minimum weight it could be
