seeding coraline

Hi all

I got some coraline scrappings from my lfs. Should I crush it up and spead it around to seed the the tank or leave it whole in one place.

I've read its best to spread it around but try to keep it on your rocks so it doesn't just settle into the sand. This should help spread it faster than from one location.

Also, make sure you have a good CA and ALK level to help it's growth.
