A new pet store just started in my town and she doesnt no anything about saltwater so i offer to get her salt started for her. Well i go and get it started and blah blah blah...now whats the easiest way to cycle the tanks....its set up with 6-15 gallon tanks running all on the same 55 gallon sump. Thanks for the help...ill post more on the subject i have to run.

Please choose better language when describing things in future... :!:

Please refer to some of the info in the >>articles section<< There is a basic guideline on how to cycle the tank as well as many other useful tidbits.

Cheers
Steve

I know how to cycle a tank i just need to know if it any different or anything because 6 tanks are all together? Sorry bout the language

The process is no different. As long as there is sufficient surface area's for bacteria to colonize and an ammonia source to begin the cycle, all the tanks if interconnected will cycle just fine.

Cheers
Steve

Ok thank you...i just didnt want to mess anything up for her before she starts.
