setup on a qt tank

i have a empty 10 gallon and need to setup a qt tank with it while i introduce my lr. what is the minium i need to have success with a qt tank?

please help

A ten gallon tank should be fine for smaller fish. A twenty or so gallon tank will be good for larger fish. All you need for a QT tank is a sponge filter and good airation as filtration. Don't useany substrate on the bottom. Place a few pieces of PVC pipes as hiding places for the fish. Good Luck!
