How can I get rid of silt that I have in my water? the water is just a little murky, but there is ALOT of silt that is floating around in it.

Have you tried mechanical filter media. I've had success with this blue pad media (don't remember name). I know there are micron filter pads (have never used them) which might help. only other suggestion I have are water changes or less water circulation to let it settle (would take hours to days, depending on the size of the particles and movement of water).

Small water changes will thin out silt. One bigger change will get rid of more of the silt than two smaller ones.
