My LFS recommended a Nautilus TE skimmer for my 150 Gal. tank. Is this a good skimmer or should I look elsewhere. Also, he suggested a 40 Gal. sump. Does this sound like a good setup??

Sounds good to me. Hobbists can become fairly loyal to specific makes and brands of skimmers. The key it so make sure you dont undersize your tank and that you provide it with a large enough pump.

A 40 gal sump sounds like a good size for a 150gal tank. Going small on the sump will minimize its usefulness. Remember its not going to run 100% full so your total water capacity wont be 190 gal. During normal operations the sump will probably have 20-25gal of water in it.

They are OK. Another skimmer you may want to look at is the ASM G series. They are low prices and have the same performance of the euroreef skimmers for half the cost.
