Looks nice. I like the 'scape. Did you glue those rocks together?

Yep, its glued in sections for easier assembly/disassembly but all the structurally important joints are epoxied.

Still looking great! I love the big arch on the lft side of the tank. I miss the one I had set up in my 55.

Thank you the tank is a little angry cause I just switched from my LEDs back to T5. The LEDs were causing TONS of algae issues so I figured I'd give the T5 a little time to see how everything responds, in just over two days almost half the algae in the tank has disappeared and corals I though melted and disappeared have shown up again. If I decide to stay with bulb lights I'll start looking into MH more.

Sounds like you had them turned up pretty high! I'm currently in a similar issue...atleast I think. Been pondering it for awhile and have been thinking about contacting Jonathan over at Ecotech to see what his input on it would be. I think I need to turn them down about 10%.

The opposite happened to me. The T5's grew a lot of algae and since the introduction of the LEDs, it's subsiding.

I actually have been turning the down over the last few months. I had them down to 50% blue and 30% white. What was really throwing me is that all my hardy corals (mushrooms, leathers, zoas, etc) weren't doing good but the touchier stuff like my bubble coral and lobos were doing great.

here is a semi updated FTS... it's a couple weeks old but not much has changed.

I also acquired a new addition to the tank She's trying to fight some popeye right now so hopefully she pulls through that without much problem.

If anybody follows this thread anymore it's time for an update! Lol

Unfortunately my angelfish didn't make it but she fought hard. I'm not going to get anything to replace her for a while, just gonna let the tank be for now. I have added two mangrove saplings to the tank. Which are keeping the nitrates at 0.

Right now I'm seriously thinking of switching this tank out for a shallow reef tank. Thoughts or opinions of shallow tanks?

Here is a FTS as of last night.
