I get snails. They provide lots of shells for hermits. I swear there is a 6 month rotation with repopulating CUC's sometimes.

SO for lighting someone mentioned pet mountain and i know i will likely need 4 bulbs. but i was going to buy 2x 2 blub fixtures

would this work if i ran two?

Current USA Nova Extreme 2xT5HO - Saltwater Light Aquarium T-5 HO Light Fixtures

Looks good! I like the eggcrate look for the cover however I am searching for something that will help prevent evaporation. I was also thinking about trying to find it in black if anything. Where do you get something like that?

The rock looks great too and will look even better when it gets its color. You made some spaces for the fish to swim and hide in which they love of course.

Very nice so far. It looks really clean.

Mine is just from Home Depot it's like 13$ for a 2x4' piece. Ill search the net for black and for evap, no idea. My only problem is every idea I have to stop evap also will stop has exchange.

Yeah that's true. I guess evaporation is supposed to happen hence the use of un-salted r/o water to top off the tank. I am going to do this, and look for black peices this weekend if that website doesnt have any. Im checking it out now. Im at work 0_o

I checked out that website they have a bunch of cool designs. I feel more comfortable running over to home depot to see if they have something that I can cut out my brackets for my light fixture and the filer and when my protein skimmer comes I'll have to do that too.
