So I'm looking at my LR....

So I'm looking at my LR and I see something I've never seen before in this tank. It is amazing, this rock has been in this tank, and new stuff is still popping up. This is about 1/3 the size of a dime.





I know what it is, any of you want to take a stab at IDing it?

LOL me too that and the ability to take great pics like him! I don't know what kind of anemone it is, but it sure looks cool, kind of reminds me of clowns with their polka dots.

Hiya RR,

Cool stuff! We have a couple in our tank too - showed up about 3 years after placing the rock in the tank. Looks like a Pseudocorynactis sp. anemone ("Orange ball anemone"). Non-photosynthetic anemone with strong nematocysts. You can find a little about them here:

Mojano anemone? People actually collect the colorful ones like that. I like them, when they look good
