specific gravity

this may be a dumb question but what should the specific gravity of a FOWLR tank be.

the LFS said 1.019-1.021 but this seems kind of low to me, but im not sure

99% of all fish for sale in the Aquarium trade are collected from the coral reef. IMO, there is no reason to maintain them at less than natural salinities. The average specific gravity of the coral reef, is 1.025 @82*F.

I try to keep mine at 1.025 also. Lots of the stores have the notion that keeping the salinity lower will inhibit parasites...not sure about that.
