Sps lighting

I currently have a 45 gallon reef and with a few zoanthids and mushrooms. I want to add some sps's and maybe a clam. I have a 6 bulb t5 fixture. Would this be enough light or aren't all halides the only way to go!

That'll work for some sps in the upper chunk of your tank. 6-8 t5, mh, or some led units will do the job nicely.
