Red hair or red dots like? Maybe red slime. I have some i need to clean.

Well I took all the substrate out and the red slime algea is gone. My problem I'm sure was that I used tap water. So I changed 20% of the water with ro water and now my live rock has some feather sisters and I think a sea slug.? It spits bubbles or something. I'll take pics later.
