starting a pod farm in my fuge

i just ordered my refugium yesterday, it's a medium aquafuge HOB, and i would like to use it for a pod farm to feed my fish. my question is how do i get it all started? will the pods just start growing, or is there something that i can get to help the process begin?

Quick question on adding those. How do you acclimate them?

Acclimation for pods is generally not needed, there will be minor die-off mostly from old age but most will adapt to the tanks parameters without issue.

I just ordered a carnivore pack from reef nutrition (or the site they sell through - Reeds I think - there is a link) On their site the give acclimation and breeding procedure information. HTH

The Tigger Pods can be poured directly into your refugium and/or main tank.

Thanks for sharing that link....I've been looking for a place to get roitifers.

I seeded my tank with pods through buy macro from LFS, and online. I have tons and tons of pods of all kinds.

Also make sure you have plenty of LR and calerpa in there for the pods to hide in there.
