Starting my Solana 34 tank need advice

So yesterday I was able to pick up this Solana aquarium for
$145! What a deal right! So as you can tell in the picture there is some LS already in the tank, as well as algae on the back wall. Do I want clean this tank out first? Or should I just fill it up then let the skimmer do its job and fix the imbalance? It has a protein skimmer and a power head I don't need another filter right that's basically the back bone? I have no experience with this type of set up where there's already a protein skimmer and power head. And my last question would have to be the lighting situation. I want to purchase a well worth it LED system, does anyone have suggestions? Sorry for all these questions at one time I'm not really sure were to start with this bad boy lol.
Thank You
