Was wondering if there are pros and cons as starting up with corals instead of fish. (Of course after it cycles) the reason why i ask is because i want to have a colony started before i put live stock in it.

Good idea or bad idea?

Pro's about adding coral before fish is it will keep fish from trying to rearrange as you place coral ,
my clowns are always moving things around as they don't like change
you won't need to do water changes as often as there will be no fish waist

con's not having any fish swimming around

I think thats the best way to go is coral first. Much less of a need for filtration and as mentioned above the crew and fish won't knock things over cause ideally than can encrust.

Yeah i figured i would have the corals set in first before getting live stock
