stupid question

howdy fellas... this question is probably very stupid but i have to ask it =P

i just bought a test kit the other day.... its one stick of paper that tests for ph, ammonia, nitrate, nitrite and alk. Im sure its not very accurate but i just use it for a quick every day test.

previously i had not tested for alk but ive seen that it should be at 8-11 dkh, but my test strip is like 0-300 lol. i dont understand...

not sure but the norm would be 8-12kh or 80-120mg/l ppm. so i would read it at 120 for your max kh. just remember there are no stupid questions here
