suggestions on sump for 55 gallon

My 55 is all tempered. If urs is it will probably have a sticker saying so on the bottom panel

Thinking there is too much guess work involved ima scout out a good deal on maybe a 75 predrilled or something on CL

Also if I stay with a 55 then I have to build a custom stand to be able to adequately reach my sump

You could place the sump on a table beside the display. People will probably be as interested in the workings of the sump with refugium than they will the display.

That is true however my tank is situated up against a half wall so I don't have a lot of room side to side and the wife does in home daycare so the last thing I want in there is a chicken nugget

UPDATE TIME....im sure no one has been following along lol. Sold the 55 gal. and most everything I have freshwater wise, ended up going with a 75 gal. Acrylic tank with a built-in overflow have set up with an Amiracle sump right now, bioballs, filter floss stuff, and a return pump. as with a different thread on my skimmer I just got a much unknown skimmer for super cheap follow along for more info as I get it set up and get moving along. Currently the 75 has 90 lbs live rock my bicolor blenny 1 clownfish and that’s it besides CUC

Nice, I bet you will find the 75g is much easier to work with than the 55g. It has a really good footprint for rockscaping while the tank isn't too too big lol
