sump

i currently have an aquneon proflex 3 sump for my 125g... the problem is that my pump and skimmer dont fit on the third chamber... so i have the pump extrnaly but im having problems since its not sucking in as much water...

im thinkinh about building one myself... my question is how big of a sump do i ned for a 125g DT? and is it hard making one?

It's very easy and saves a ton of money... Size wise bigger the better. Put what ever fits under your stand. Do you want a fuge? I would reccomend one if your gonna DIY a sump.

yes i curently have one ight now and plane to put one in... is a 20g good or too small?

For the whole sump a 20 would be small for that system but just a fuge that would be great. Imo if you decide to add a sump/fuge don't go any smaller then 25% the volume of your display preferably I would try and always hit 50%
