Sump for a 72 gallon

I have a 72 gallon bow front. I was wondering how big of sump i should get

Bigger is always better, really depends on how much room you have to store it.

I custom built my stand for my 72 bow front. I have a 29g sump and a 10g fuge in the stand.

How much room do you have? I would go as big as possible. The increased water volume will help all around.

Is your sump and refugium two different tanks?

Mine are, just by choice, it's not necessary. Since I custom built my stand, it's 48 x 25, so I have a lot of room in there.

I also have a 72bf, I have a 30gal sump under mine

I would use at least a 25 gallons, but 30 gallons would be preferable. The bigger the better as stated above.
