Sump setup

Can somebody please tell me the two pumps you need for a sump aquarium ?

Technically you only need 1 return pump. Depending on the size of the aquarium, overflow and sump will determine what size pump you need.

Sorry but I really have no idea when it comes to sump but I think it will be easier for me to have an in pump and an out pump but what pump would do the in part ?

dont try to have an in and out,it will never work.have a look in my profile there are some basic sump setups to help you!!

You definitely dont want an in pump. If the other pump should fail that the water will still be pumped in and you`ll have a major overflow. Best way is Gravity in and pump out.
