surface scum

protien skimmer is running but there is a film on top...how can I get rid of it?

more surface agitation..use a small powerhead or cheap HOB filter to get water moving at the surface.

That's how I got rid of mine also.
Age is relative, you are only as old as you act....of course, this works in reverse....
