Thanks dmolavi! I'll take a look next time I go to petsmart, which I tend to avoid like the plague, but I don't believe they have books there. Will probably have to order them from amazon

Yeah, I didn't know they had it, until I was there to buy dog food. I wandered into the aquatic section and they had both at the end of one of the aisles.

I did buy Saltwater Aquariums For Dummies (For Dummies (Lifestyles Paperback)): Gregory Skomal PhD: Amazon.com: Books when I started.

Lots of great information here. Check craigslist. You probably don't want to start with a 10 gallon salt tank. More water is more stable. Stability is very important in saltwater tanks. We are more than willing to help you in your process of getting up and going.
