My husband and I are thinking about leaping into a saltwater system. Right now we are looking at a 29g BioCube or 34g RedSea 130d max system. Any thoughts on these two systems? Or any other possible good choices? We have kept freshwater for many years but have never made the jump to saltwater.
:thanks:

That is kind of the same thought we have. It appears to be a better maybe easier system, but also more $$

I have a 14g biocube and almost always when I turn on the tank lights, the fans make a noise that is really loud and obnoxious. I literally have to hit the top of the hood a couple times to get it to stop. It's also only 3 months old.

That doesn't sound good. I don't expect a system to be totally quiet, but also don't want one that is too loud.

No, I think something went wrong because other than that, it's quiet. But if you can afford it, go with the red sea.
