I would eventually like to add a blue tang as well as a yellow tang. I have a friend who knows everything about everything(you know the type). Well he told me that if i wanted a tang I can get one tang or a school nothing in between or they will fight each other. He also told me that different colored tangs will leave each other alone. Since i don't have enough room for a school would it be possible for a blue and a yellow tang to live in peace or should i scrap the idea?

TIA
Ian

If your refering to the 33 gal tank you list in your profile then you technicly dont have room for 1 tang either. Tangs can be classified as a medium to medium large bodied fish that requires a fair amount of swimming room. Tangs are high energy and wont be satisfied in a small box. You might be ok with a small tang in a 33 but it will outgrow the tank in a mater of less than 1 year.
