Ive had a 30 gallon saltwater tank with crushed coral subtrate and a green spotted puffer for 6 months now. water params were always good. i added 10 lbs of live rock a week and a half ago and had no spike in water params. I just added 10 more lbs today. I want to also change out my CC substrate for argonite dry sand but i know that the CC is holding most of the good bacteria right now. How long would i have to wait for my live rock to cure so i can use it to seed the future dry sand? I want to do this as carefully as possible so that i wont risk having any mini cycles.

I know i went about starting this tank all wrong but this tank started out as freshwater 10 months ago when i was acclimating my GSP to full Marine.

Slowly take out some cc every week until you finally have none left.
