is 85 degrees to hot for live rock. i have the heater unplugged and the temp is at 85. if the live rock will be ok then i will get a chiller by next spring or i plan on installing central air to my house in the spring which will elimate the need for the chiller. if the live rock wont be ok then i may have to get the chiller now.

I think the LR will be OK as long as there is no livestock in there. One way to cool down the tank is to run a fan across the top of the water.
