Does anyone have a simple equation to work out the volume of bowfront tanks?

Dont say fill it up and measure it either 8O

If its a standard tank you can measure the L,W and H of it and look online to see what it matches.
Else there is not a real simple way to calc the volume of it.

If you cannot find it online I can give you a few calcs that will get you close to the actual volume of water. But some work will need to be done.

curious what are the L,W,H?

edit:spellcheck ftw

I more curious to know if it's a custom tank and not the typical bow front sizes like 46, 72, 90, 175, ect. Is it a used tank or do you know the manufacture?

To answer your question you can either do the math yourself or cheat and use a calculator like most of us. Unless you like Trig/Calc of course ;)
