What does the source water test at? What does your RO say it will remove? Percentage wise, etc... 17ppm may be great depending on what the source water tests, or it may be time to change the prefilters. Also does you RO have an automatic flush or manual flush valve? RO membranes should be flushed periodically, some incorporate an auto flush where you don't have to worry about it.

you may want to step up to an add on DI stage as 17 ppm seems a little on the high side.

As a comparison, my tap water is at 285, RO at around 2-7 and DI at 0

383-17=366
366/383=0.95561357702349869451697127937337
Your RO is removing 95.6% of the TDS in your water, that's not too bad. I agree though, I would add a DI to get the rest.

Gosh Dr. Spock (I mean Reefrunner) is 0.95561357702349869451697127937337 the best estimate you can come up with? I was looking for something a little more precise!
