Test Kits

In everybody's experience, what is the best test kit? I have used API in the past, but I have heard that Salifert and Instant Ocean test kits are superior. Is there really a noticeable difference in accuracy? And does this difference in accuracy come with a substantial difference in price as well? :P

Also, if you are doing a FOWLR with no intention of putting Corals in it, is there any benefit in getting a Reef Test Kit in addition to the regular Marine Test Kit?

Thanks.

Check this thread out, it was a recent discussion on the same topic.
Best Reef water testing kits?

The only extra things you usually need to monitor in a reef over a FOWLR is Calcium and Magnesium. Frankly though, if you keep up on your PWC's, you should be fine across the board provided you stock correctly.

Thank you very much for the link, and sorry for posting another thread on the same subject; I browse through the forum daily, but for some reason or another I seem to have missed that thread

Haha, no worries.
It's always better to ask then not.
