test kits

What test kits do you all use and like, I was thinking of salifert to test calcium exctra. Any opinions thanks

Salifert test kits are far better then the API kits IMO. I use a combo of both. Calcium/alkalinity/magnesium are salifert. The rest I use API and even then API can be hard to judge. Again this is just based on MY experience with both kits.

I used API. They are now collecting dust now that i have red sea test kits. API too inaccurate for me. Red sea more accurate and easier to use and no spill (whereas the API vial keeps leaking on me).

I saw a video on bulkreefsupply about the comparisons on some different test kits. You should watch it if you get the chance to find it on their website.
