Okay everyone, preparing to move about 300 miles in the next 2 weeks. Have a 30 FOWLR setup. Was thinking about approaching the move of the tank with the following.
1. drain majority of tank water into jugs and coolers for adding again at new site
2. individually bagging my fish and shrimp. gonna use "bag buddies" for the fish
3. submerge live rock in cooler full of tank water
4. reassemble at new place.

The fish to be moved are 2 false perc's, 1 royal gramma
Crustaceans include 1 peppermint shrimp, 1 camel shrimp, 1 brittle star, LOTS of snails

Any suggestions? Do's/Don'ts from previous experiences? TIA

I did the same when i moved mine. But, i only had to move it across the living room. :) You may want to use Stress Coat for your fish when you bag them up. Over all, looks like you're all set for the move. Good Luck!!!
