How often are you to replace the carbon block prefilter in the RO unit?

Well on the manual i have, it says those filters should be replaced once every year. Assuming you have normal and daily use. So if you don't use it that often, i would say you wouldn't have to replace it for longer. I know that the resin chamber and the membrane have to be changed every 6 months depending on usage. But i'm pretty sure the resin chamber changes from brown to green when it needs to be changed.. so yeah. HTH.
