thinking about a salt water tank need help and advice

Im thinking about changing my freshwater 29 gallon tank into a fish only reef tank. Can i still use the hob ive been using or do i have to get a new filter?

I would use at least a 70 aquaclear filter but would prefer a 110 for a tank that size if I was going to use a hob filter.

with salt water you dont really need a filter the live rock is your filter
