My first SW tank has been doing well. No ich, no major problems other than I did have a beautiful yellow coris wrasse get eaten by strawberry crab while fish was laying in sand sleeping. At first the coris wrasse would bury himself at night I sleep, then I guess he got comfortable cuz then he just laid on top of sand to sleep. didn't think much about it until after few nights of that, found him dead with his back half eaten, which was the side that would lay away from the glass. Felt so bad. Never even see that crab, kinda forgot about him really.
Here's pix of new tank
So, now that that tank is good, I wanna convert our 30gal FW to a FOWLR. I know someone who I think will place our 8-9" fantail goldfish and his 5" buddy in his pond that he has other goldfish in. Then the fun begins with picking out stock for the 30 gal. First thing I know: I'm not getting an emerald or ruby crab!!!!
Any suggestions? It will have a lid, so jumpers are ok.
