this a good sump set up?

Well if you can see the picture would that be okay somthing like that. Wet/dry then have it go to a refigum. This is the rough draft of what i want to build over christmas break any ideas.[/img]
 
I've heard bad things with bioballs in saltwater. I think you should replace them with live rock rubble.
 
i belive the bio balls/rocks should in the water instead of the water run thru them like that in mid air.
 
I just added water to my latest tank. I used a similar sump setup only having the inflow coming into a seperate chamber that held my heater and protein skimmer - then a baffle, my fuge, then a baffle into a live rock rubble area with my return pump. I also have the intake area with the protein skimmer having some rubble.

I have a wet/dry setup with my 125g and I am not pleased with its performance and I will be switching it over to a rubble/fuge setup shortly
