To drill or not to drill

Ok, I am planning my upgrade to a 180. Initially I thought it was best to have a drilled tank with overflow boxes but my lfs guy told me he personally has always had better luck with non drilled tanks.
 
Yea, that is what I was thinking too. My lfs guy is a squared away sort of guy, the kind that won't sell you a fish that he thinks wouldn't work in your tank. Just made me re evaluate my plans when he said that lol
