under gravel filter

Hi i have a under gravel filter in my tank does anyone know weather its a good idea or not ??

Bad idea. Disturbing the sandbed can do nasty things, but most importantly prevent beneficial processes from taking place. Power heads are used for water circulation as a much better option.

I agree that an under gravel filter is not for the sw tank.
