I have a beginner reef tank i guess, just soft corals under a T5 light. I want to upgrade it though so i can have lps and sps! It is for a 60 or 65 gallon fish tank. Any suggestions? Thank you

I have had LPS SPS and softies under T5 HO just depends on the bulbs you buy.

The number of bulbs has a big impact on what you can keep. SPS are quite light demanding, needing 6-8 bulb T5HO depending on the size of the tank. It can get quite expensive, have you looked into LEDs? The taotronics LEDs you can buy on amazon and ebay have become quite popular here in the forums and are quite cheap.

I agree you would be better off with something like these
I love mine
New Dimmable 120W Aquarium Coral Reef Fish Tank White Blue LED Light Black US | eBay

best part you don't have to replace bulbs every 3 months
and it basically paid for itself on what I would have paid to replace the bulbs in my old light
buying another for my other tank soon

I have 3 of these over an 180 and get great SPS growth 30 inches below the lights

If you go with the same ones on amazon you'll pay tax as well as shipping
