Upgrading 94L to 300L tank.

Have a nano 94L tank and am thinking of upgrading to a 300L tank. If I have live rock, good water am I able to put it straight into the new one or do I have to run two tanks the new one from scratch?

So are you moving all your filter, rocks, sand and everything to new tank or will you be running both tanks at once? If moving everything, including the filter, you might have a very short cycle. I used media from my 55 g to cycle the 30g, and it took 10 days to cycle

You could look at putting media in the tank and transfer rock after the ammonia spike

Yes run both tanks unless you want to risk the chance of a new cycle
