Urchin and carpet anemone

Hey guys got a quick question for ya. Just added a few sea urchins to my tank as a power house to my clean up crew. I was wondering if my 1 foot long carpet anemone would eat them if they managed to bump into it? I'm worried they might meet a horrible fate and maybe even hurt the nem. Thanks!

I doubt a carpet nem could eat an urchin.

Ok thx I hope he won't. I didn't know if anyone had experience or not. I have already lost three fish to this beast.

Well, it is a foot long...but the general theory is that they don't have a great prey capturing ability and only feed off the weak/sick. No real confirmation on that, but know mine has never munched on my slow, bottom dwellers like my mandarin.

Thanks. Mine reacts like crazy when I feed it. It's lighting fast which surprises me because when I bought it he wasn't.
