We recently faced a dilemma. Our family was going on vacation, but our teen aged son was unable to come along (work responsibilities). He had no knowledge or interest in the salt water tank, thus he did not know proper feeding, etc. I was worried that he would overfeed the fish and we would come home to a disaster! My daughter came up with the idea to use a pill tray. We bought one that was marked Sunday to Saturday. I sprinkled the proper amount and type of food into each tray. My son simply had to snap open one each day and shake it into the tank. We came home to healthy fish and a clean tank! :)

I've done the same and added water to the trays then threw it all in the freezer. Neighbor threw 1 ice cube per day in with the fish.
If any cubes end up in a drink it's their own fault ?
