Via-Aqua Protein Skimmer/UV sterilizer??

A guy at my LFS was talking to me about this protein skimmer and said it was a good deal and worked pretty good. wanted to know if anyone has had experience with it or with products from via-aqua. your feed back will be greatly appreciated...thanks

They are pretty much junk. I would stay away from them. Take a look at the remora by aqua c or a CPR bak pak.

Depends what are you trying to do with it? I have a UV =Sterilizer as well as a Protien Skimmer.... Just what are you trying to accomplish with either or? I dont leave my UV on the tank at all times... however my Protien Skimmer ahs been on since my tank has started its cycle from the get go. mine is the Aqua...
