Water change to bring .4ppm of nitrite down?

Alright so I've been at about .4ppm of nitrite like 5 days now. I'm in day 11 of cycling now and I was wondering if I can do some big water changes to bring my nitrates(which I have to do anyways) and bring this.small amount of nitrites down?
