So I'm wondering....how much circulation....gph should a fish tank have? I'm pretty sure I dont have enough right now, but I also only have 100lbs live rock in a 90 gal tank....so it's probably not the most important thing just yet. But I'm planning on redoing my regium/sump and adding a large pump down there to do it all with a loop system up top...but then i wonder, hm, how much is enough?

It depends. For a FOWLR tank 10x the tank volume per hour is pretty good. For a reef, more like 20x is better. Regardless of what you have, just make sure you have a more "caotic" current and no dead spots in the tank.
